James studied Nutrition BSc (Hons) at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2008. He then went onto study for a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Dietetics at the University of Wales Institute (UWIC) and graduated in 2010.
He has over 8 years experience working as a Dietitian in a variety of roles both in hospitals and the community.
James has extensive experience working with people diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and has completed the Kings College London Advanced Dietary management and the low FODMAP diet in IBS course.
James has also completed the Counterweight-Plus training to enable him to safely manage and advise people on the programme.
James Jackson is currently the interim deputy dietetic manager working in the NHS in Hillingdon, North-West London.
James is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). The HCPC set standards for professionals' education and training and practice. They take action if professionals on the Register do not meet the standards
James is a member of the BDA. The BDA is the professional body representing the professional, educational, public and workplace interests of its members.
